NI CompactDAQ Firmware Update Utility 1.0 - Windows 2000/Vista x64/Vista x86/XP

The NI CompactDAQ Firmware Update Utility upgrades the firmware on the NI cDAQ-9172 chassis. This upgrade only is needed for NI-DAQmx version 8.7.x and previous when used with the NI 9201, NI 9221, NI 9225, NI 9234. 9235 and NI 9236 modules in revision E and previous chassis. The upgrade is fully backwards compatible with all supported versions of NI-DAQmx and works with all existing modules.

To run: Download the utility. With the NI cDAQ-9172 chassis powered on and connected to the USB port, start the exe. Follow the on-screen instructions to upgrade the chassis.

Do not power off or disconnect the USB cable during the upgrade. If you do power off the chassis or disconnect during the upgrade you may place the chassis in an unusable state. If this or any other issue occurs with the update, please contact National Instruments at MIO.DAQ.PSEs@NI.com.
