Release Notes
NI-488.2 for Mac OS X, Version 2.5 is the latest driver offering from
National Instruments. Every attempt has been made to maintain backward
compatibility with the installed base of existing NI-488.2
applications.
System Requirements
NI-488.2 for Mac OS X requires the following:
- Mac OS X 10.4.x for PowerPC, where x is 8 or later
- Mac OS X 10.4.x for Intel, where x is 8 or later
- Mac OS X 10.5 for Intel
- At least 210 MB of disk space for the complete installation
Supported Interfaces
NI-488.2 for Mac OS X supports the following hardware:
- PCI-GPIB
- PCIe-GPIB
- GPIB-ENET/100
- GPIB-USB-HS (NEW)
