Platform Evaluation License Files

Description

These are the default LabVIEW Evaluation License Files that install with the LabVIEW 8.6 Platform DVD. If for some reason your LabVIEW 8.6 license files become corrupt or removed, follow the directions to restore the default files.

Installation Instructions

To install the license files, copy the license files of interest to:

[NIDIR]\Shared\License Manager\Licenses

where '[NIDIR]' is your National Instruments directory (usually installed to C:\program files\national instruments\) and activate LabVIEW if needed.

Install Notes

Download "labviewplatform86licenses.zip" and extract the files. Follow the installation instructions to install the licenses of interest. After the files are installed, you may need to re-activate LabVIEW through the NI License Manager.
