Description

This patch will fix a problem introduced in TestStand 4.1 that occurs when evaluating the database logging result filter expression. If the result filter expression contains a reference to the Logging property, database logging will fail with the error:

An error occurred calling 'LogResults' in 'ITSDBLog' of 'DBLog 1.0 Type Library'
An error occurred evaluating the database logging result filter expression.

Error accessing item 'Logging'.

Install the patch to fix this error.

Installation Instructions

Development System Installation Instructions:

  1. Run the self-extracting .zip file
  2. Press the Unzip button to decompress the installer
  3. A dialog should appear stating all files unzipped successfully. Press the dialog's OK button.
  4. The installer will start, after a few seconds the license agreement dialog will appear.
  5. Read the license agreement, then select I accept the license agreement and press the Next button to continue.
  6. Press the next button to install the patch.
  7. A progress dialog will appear showing the installation progress. Once the installer completes press the finish button.
Deployed System Installation Instructions:
  1. Any deployment that contains the TestStand engine built on a system with this patch will automatically include the patch.
If your deployed system already has the 4.1.0 engine installed you can run TestStand4.1.0Patch123594.exe to update the system following the steps above for a development system.
