Patch for NI-DAQmx 8.9 when used with the USB-9237 or the WLS- or ENET-9213

Description

This patch fixes an issue when channel 3 is used on the USB-9237 with NI-DAQmx 8.9. Including channel 3 in a task causes the data from all channels in the task to become invalid. This patch is strongly recommended for all customers using NI-DAQmx 8.9 with the USB-9237.

This patch also fixes a known issue with the NI ENET-9213 or NI WLS-9213 when used with NI-DAQmx 8.9. Thermocouple measurements may experience inaccuracies due to temperature gradients. This patch is strongly recommended for all customers using NI-DAQmx 8.9 with the NI ENET-9213 or the NI WLS-9213.

This patch is not required for systems that do not use the USB-9237, the ENET-9213 or the WLS-9213.

Note: This patch is not WHQL signed for Windows XP. Therefore, administrator privileges are required to install all devices on Windows XP including NI ELVIS II and USB DAQ devices.

Install Notes

The NI-DAQmx patch installer is packaged as a self-extracting archive that will automatically launch the patch installer. By default, files are extracted to C:\National Instruments Downloads\NI-DAQmx\8.9\Patch1 and can be deleted to conserve disk space. It is recommended that you keep the extracted installation files in case you need to add features from the NI-DAQmx distribution in the future.
