Description

The LabVIEW DIAdem Connectivity VIs provide a LabVIEW palette with a collection of VIs that enable LabVIEW applications to easily store and retrieve measurement data, and to benefit from interactive analysis and report generation cababilities.

The VIs enable you to read and write data files flexibly and effectively, using the popular NI DIAdem file format. The DIAdem file format not only allows you to store the mass data itself, it also enables you to add additional descriptive information like a UUT number, operator, or test procedure for a test rig application. If you reload the file in LabVIEW or DIAdem, this information is available instantly and enables you to interpret the data correctly even at a much later date.

If you have installed both NI LabVIEW and NI DIAdem then the LabVIEW DIAdem Connectivity VIs also enable you to add interactive data analysis and report generation to your LabVIEW application. Use these VIs to programmatically exchange data with DIAdem and completely automate the DIAdem environment from your LabVIEW application.

Version 2.1 of these VIs is designed for use with LabVIEW 6.1 (or higher) and DIAdem 8.10 (or higher). This is also the first release that supports the "DIAdem Report" Express VI, which is part of LabVIEW 7 Express. To install the LabVIEW DIAdem Connectivity VIs, run the selfextracting file LV-DD-ConnectivityVIs-2.1.exe and follow the file ReleaseNotes.txt
