Install Notes

This document contains the LabVIEW 2011 Run-Time Engine (Standard) (32-bit). This Run-Time Engine must be installed on any Windows system where you plan to run executables that you build with the LabVIEW Application Builder. This version of the Run-Time Engine may be used only to run executables that were built with LabVIEW 2011 (32-bit).

Additionally, the Run-Time Engine allows your browser to display VIs that are embedded in Web pages.

If you were attempting to view a VI through a browser and you were directed to this site by your Web browser, the VI will display correctly after you install the corresponding Run-Time Engine: 32-bit for 32-bit browsers and 64-bit for 64-bit browsers. NOTE: Windows Vista x64 and Windows 7 x64 have the 32-bit version of Internet Explorer set to be the default browser.

If you only want to use VIs embedded in a web broswer you can use the smaller LabVIEW 2011 Run-time Engine (32-bit Web Browser Plug-in)
