The HP-UX version of the driver for the GPIB-ENET and GPIB-ENET/100 is not available for download; instead, you must purchase this driver from National Instruments. If you already have version 1.40 of the driver, you do [not] require this driver. Please read Note 2 below for more information about changes between version 1.40 to version 1.50: [

[Note 1:] If you have already purchased the HP-UX version of the driver for the GPIB-ENET, and you would like to use it with the GPIB-ENET/100, then you must download the new GPIB-ENET/100 configuration utilities for this driver. You may download them for FREE by logging in (below). For configuration instructions, please download the [Getting Started with Your GPIB-ENET/100 and NI-488.2 for HP-UX] manual and read Chapter 3 on [Ethernet Configuration]. [Note 2:] This software added an enchancement to the Version 1.4 of this software: We introduced new ibconfig option (IbcNetTimeout = 0x2C). The purpose of this option is to allow users to specify timeout for socket reads and writes. This option is both board and device-level and once set applies to all descriptors within an application. By default the value of IbcNetTimeout is zero, which means that all socket reads and writes will be blocking. If value is changed to (1-17), the corresponding timeout value (same as for ibtmo) will be used to determine how much time will be allowed for the socket read or write to complete. For more information on how to use this option read Readme that comes with this version of the driver. We also changed make_connection() function to limit the time it takes to open a connection to lesser of 10 seconds or timeout value of IbcNetTimeout in seconds. [
