New in NI-488.2 Version 2.4 for Windows 2000/XP: Added support for ExpressCard-GPI and a new revision of PCI-GPIB+ Cards (old PCI-GPIB+ cards are also supported). NI-488.2 for Windows Version 2.4 is the latest driver offering from National Instruments. Every attempt has been made to maintain backward compatibility with the installed base of existing NI-488.2 applications.

Purchasing the Software
This driver is available for download but you must have a license in order to use it. For all GPIB hardware products listed above, the license is included with the hardware.

Firmware Update for GPIB-ENET/100
If you are using the GPIB-ENET/100, you should upgrade your firmware revision to Version C.9 after you have installed the driver. To download the firmware image, please visit the Firmware page. If you choose not to upgrade to version C.9, you must have at least version B.9 on your GPIB-ENET/100.
