Description

The NI Vision 8.0 Acquisition Software CD contains the following:

  • NI-IMAQ 3.5.1
  • NI-IMAQ for IEEE 1394 Cameras 2.0.2
  • NI-IMAQ I/O 1.1.0
NOTE: NI-IMAQ for IEEE 1394 2.0.2 is a paid upgrade. Serial numbers for previous versions will not activate the 2.0.2 driver. Without activation, the driver will run in evaluation mode for 30 days.

Installing these programs may remove previous versions of NI-IMAQ, NI-IMAQ for IEEE 1394 Cameras, NI IMAQ IO, and Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) that are currently installed.

NI-IMAQ and NI-IMAQ I/O do not require licensing but you will require a valid serial number in order to activate and install NI-IMAQ for IEEE 1394 Cameras. Also note that serial numbers for previous versions of NI-IMAQ for IEEE 1394 Cameras will not activate the current version.
