Description


NI-FGEN 2.4 for Linux supports the following devices:

  • NI PXI-5404
  • NI PXI/PCI-5412
  • NI PXI/PCI-5421
  • NI PXI-5422
  • NI PXI-5441
Development Environments
NI-FGEN 2.4 for Linux supports two application development environments (ADEs):
  • LabVIEW 8.0 and later versions
  • C and C++ through the use of the gcc compiler

    • Note: NI-FGEN for Linux 2.4 does not support other ADEs, such as the LabVIEW Real-Time Module, LabWindows/CVI, and Measurement Studio. Also, some features available through LabVIEW for Windows are not available on Linux.
Linux Environments
NI-FGEN 2.4 is supported for Intel x86 32-bit systems only. This installer has been tested on the following Linux distributions:
  • Mandrakelinux 10.1 Official
  • SUSE LINUX Professional 9.2, 9.3
  • Mandriva Linux 2006
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux WS 3
