Description
HSDIO 1.5.1 supports the PCI/PXI-654x, PCI/PXI-655x, and PCI/PXI-656x devices and the following application development environments:
- LabVIEW 7.1 and 8.x
- LabWindows/CVI 7.1 and 8.x
- Microsoft Visual C++ (MSVC) 6.0 (or later)
NI HSDIO 1.5.1 contains all the features of HSDIO 1.4.3 and adds:
- Bug fixes for the NI-HSDIO SignalExpress steps and niHSDIO Express VIs
- Support for streaming waveforms and Direct DMA
NI-HSDIO Stimulus/Response express step and integration with NI LabVIEW SignalExpress 2.0
- Support for generating waveforms using the NI Digital Waveform Editor and NI LabVIEW SignalExpress 2.0

Installation Instructions
STEP 1
Create a temporary folder on your local hard drive and name it NIHSDIO151.
STEP 2
Extract the NIHSDIO151.zip file into the folder you created in STEP 1. This will create the installation files necessary for installing NI-HSDIO.
STEP 3
To launch the NI-HSDIO installer, run the autorun.exe program in the NIHSDIO151 folder.
To conserve disk space you can delete your .zip files and the extracted files in the NIHSDIO151 folder. It is recommended that you keep the extracted installation files in case you need to add features from the NI-HSDIO distribution in the future.
