Description

This document contains the English, German, French, and Japanese versions of the LabVIEW 6.0.2 Run-Time Engine. This Run-Time Engine must be installed on any Windows system where you plan to run executables that you built with the LabVIEW Application Builder. Version 6.0.2 of the Run-Time Engine may only be used to run executables that were built with LabVIEW 6.0.2.

Installation Instructions

Installation Instructions (English)

  1. Unzip the contents of the LV602WinEnglish.zip file into a temporary directory on your computer.
  2. Run lvrteinstall.exe to install the LabVIEW 6.0.2 Run-Time Engine.
Note: If you have the LabVIEW Professional Development System or the LabVIEW Application Builder, then you must copy the LabVIEW 6.0.2 Run-Time Engine installer (the lvrt.msi file) from the 6_0_2RTE.zip file and copy it to the [LVDIR]\applibs\installs directory. You must replace the file with the same name that already exists in that location. This will update the files that the LabVIEW Application Builder uses when it includes the LabVIEW Run-Time Engine as part of your executable.
