Beschreibung

VI Logger has been replaced by LabVIEW SignalExpress as National Instruments's data logging software package. The VI Logger to LabVIEW SignalExpress Data Converter Tool allows you to convert datalog files logged from VI Logger to Technical Data Management Streaming (TDMS) files that can be used by LabVIEW SignalExpress.

Installationshinweise

05/12/2008 - The conversion utility was updated to not require the LabVIEW 8.2 Development System and only the LabVIEW 8.2 Run-Time Engine.

Known Issues:

1. If the filepath for the converted log files exceeds 255 characters, the conversion fails without error and no converted files are saved. As a workaround, specify a location with a smaller filepath, convert the log files, then move the files to the desired location.
2. Before using the conversion utility, restore LabVIEW SignalExpress settings to default by clicking Tools>>Options>>Restore Defaults in LabVIEW SignalExpress. You can preserve your LabVIEW SignalExpress settings by creating a backup of the SignalExpress.ini file and restoring it after converting your log files.
