NI-Serial for USB - Windows 2000/XP

This driver has been replaced by NI-Serial 1.7 and higher

The serusb11.exe file contains version 1.1 of the NI-Serial driver for the USB-232, USB-232/2, USB-232/4, USB-485, USB-485/2, and USB-485/4 devices with Windows 2000/XP. NI-Serial for USB has been replaced by NI-Serial 1.7 and higher.

Readme Notes:

• The driver will now allow the system to enter into any power-down state the computer would normally support, including "standby," "suspend," and "hibernate." The NI-Serial USB devices no longer have to be unplugged to allow these power-down states.
• The driver is now fully functional on dual processor-based systems.
• In addition to supporting the Win32 COM API, your NI-Serial (USB) product has advanced features that can be programmatically controlled. The NISerial.h header file is included with the installation and can be used to easily incorporate the advanced features of your NI-Serial product into applications written in C/C++. For more information about the advanced features supported by your product, see the NI-Serial for Software and Hardware User Manual.

Note: This driver is separate from the NI-Serial (Plug-in Boards) and NI-Serial Device Server for ENET drivers, but can coexist with those drivers.
