Description

NI-DAQ 7.1 contains three Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), which are libraries of functions or VIs, attributes, and properties for programming your device. These APIs are Traditional NI-DAQ, NI-DAQmx, and NI-SWITCH. Consequently, the form of the driver available for download is 537MB. If you would like to order a CD containing NI-DAQ 7.1, please contact National Instruments at (512) 683 - 0100. The part number for the CD is 778837-05.

1. To learn what is new in NI-DAQ 7.1, please refer to the ReadMe file.
2. The nidaq710.zip file includes components supporting the English, Japanese, French and German language interfaces.
3. The DAQDocBrowser710.zip contains the Device Document Browser. This utility contains online documentation, such as manuals and help files, for supported DAQ, SCXI and switch devices.

Installation Instructions

1. Create a temporary folder on your local hard drive.
2. Extract the nidaq710.zip file into the folder created in Step 1. This will create the installation files necessary for installing NI-DAQ.
3. To launch the NI-DAQ installer, run the setup.exe program created in Step 2.
