NI-RIO 2.3 installs support for all R Series and CompactRIO embedded targets. NI-RIO 2.3 supports Windows Vista, the 32-bit and 64-bit version.

DMA output is not supported for cRIO 9002/9004 controllers.

National Instruments also recommends upgrading the Boot Rom of your cRIO-901x controller by using the Boot Rom Field Update Utility for cRIO-901x controllers to enhance disk performance.
