LabVIEW Sound and Vibration Toolset 5.0 - Windows - Patch with Signal Express 2.0

When you install LV SignalExpress 2.0 and Sound and Vibration Toolkit (or Measurement Suite) 5.0 into different versions of LabVIEW, some Express VIs will not be installed into the version of LabVIEW in which the Sound and Vibration Toolkit (or Measurement Suite) 5.0 is installed. This results in the Sound and Vibration Toolkit (or Measurement Suite) 5.0 palettes being empty or missing Express VIs. Also, code generation from the Sound and Vibration Assistant for some steps will be broken in the version of LabVIEW in which the Sound and Vibration Toolkit (or Measurement Suite) 5.0 is installed. This patch fixes these issues.

1. Close all NI software
2. Unzip SVT50withLVSigXPatch.zip to a temporary file location. Doing so creates a directory named SVT50-ExpressVI-patch, which contains the 8 files mentioned above.
3. Run mswLVSupport.msi
4. Click “Next” on the first screen.
5. The second screen will ask you which version of LabVIEW in which to install the support part. Select the location for the version of LabVIEW where you have installed Sound and Vibration Toolkit (or Measurement Suite) 5.0. This is also the LabVIEW version where the Express VIs are missing.
6. Click “Next” on the following two screens. Doing so installs the missing files.
7. Launch the version of LabVIEW where you have installed Sound and Vibration Toolkit (or Measurement Suite) 5.0 and verify the previously missing Express VIs are present in the palette. If they do not appear, you may have selected the wrong version of LabVIEW during Step 5. If you did select the wrong version, uninstall and reinstall the Sound and Vibration Toolkit (or Measurement Suite) 5.0 and reapply the patch.
8. Apply patch to all affected machines.
9. [Optional] After applying the patch, you may delete SVT50withLVSigXPatch.zip and the SVT50-ExpressVI-patch directory from your machine.
