LabVIEW Real-Time Module 8.5 - ETS, PharLap, Real-Time OS, Windows - Desktop PC Evaluator

Description

The Desktop ETS Evaluator automatically tests desktop PC hardware for LabVIEW Real-Time embedded software compatibility. PCs passing this test can be converted into dedicated LabVIEW Real-Time 8.5 execution targets. The evaluator tests motherboard, CPU, PCI bus, network interface card, disk drive and filesystem compatibility. The networking test requires a DHCP connection in order to successfully acquire an address and test communication.

Installation Instructions

Download the executable to a folder of your choosing. Double-click the executable and insert a blank floppy disk when prompted. If the disk is not empty, note that it will be formatted and all previous data discarded.

Install Notes

Vista Users: The Windows Vista OS prevents extraction of the floppy image due to increased security measures. The Measurement and Automation Explorer can create a USB Utility Drive containing the same evaluator.
