NI-HSDIO 1.5.3 - Windows 2000/Vista x64/Vista x86/XP

Description

HSDIO 1.5.3 supports the PCI/PXI-654x, PCI/PXI-655x, and PCI/PXI-656x devices and the following application development environments:

• LabVIEW 7.1 and 8.x
• LabWindows/CVI 7.1 and 8.x
• Microsoft Visual C++ (MSVC) 6.0 (or later)

NI HSDIO 1.5.3 contains all the features of HSDIO 1.5.2 and adds:

• Support for acquiring an infinite number of records
• Contains the following bug fixes:
• Resolves NI 656x acquisition returning invalid data when data width is set to 1 byte
• Added an error when using the open collector drive type for dynamic generation with NI 654x devices
• Resolves external clock reconfiguration error on NI 654x/655x/656x devices
• Optimized the instances of the niHSDIO Write Named Waveform VI by eliminating a memory copy

Installation Instructions

STEP 1
Create a temporary folder on your local hard drive and name it NIHSDIO153.

STEP 2

Extract the NIHSDIO153.zip file into the folder you created in STEP 1. This will create the installation files necessary for installing NI-HSDIO.

STEP 3
To launch the NI-HSDIO installer, run the autorun.exe program in the NIHSDIO153 folder.

To conserve disk space you can delete your .zip files and the extracted files in the NIHSDIO153 folder. It is recommended that you keep the extracted installation files in case you need to add features from the NI-HSDIO distribution in the future.
