Description

The NI 985x Software is required in order to use the NI 982/9853 C Series modules for Controller Area Network (CAN). To learn more about NI 985x Software, please refer to the Readme.htm file.

Installation Instructions

Execute the NI-985x_131.exe file. The self-extracting executable will create the installation files necessary for installing the NI 985x Software and then start the installation. After the installation completes, you may delete the installation image to recover disk space. You should not delete the installation image if you wish to be able to modify or repair the installation in the future.

Install Notes

Make sure that you have have NI-RIO already installed. Please note that version 1.3 (or newer) is required for the LabVIEW 7.1 support, version 2.1 (or newer) of the NI-RIO software is required for the LabVIEW 8.2 support and version 2.3 is required for LabVIEW 8.5 support. You can download the latest version of the NI-RIO Software from the installer resources below.
