Thank you for using NI-DAQmx Base, version 3.1 for Mac OS X.

The NI-DAQmx Base 3.1 software provides LabVIEW and C Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) which allows you to create applications for your National Instruments DAQ devices which will run on Mac OS X.

The following main features were added in NI-DAQmx Base 3.1

  • Newly supported devices in NI-DAQmx Base—NI USB-9215A, NI USB-9211A, NI USB-6210, NI USB-6211, NI USB-6215, and NI USB-6218. Refer to the Supported Functionality section in the NI-DAQ Readme for more details.
  • New OS Support—NI-DAQmx Base now supports the following versions of Mac OS X:
    • Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) on Intel or PowerPC
    • Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) on Intel or PowerPC
  • LabVIEW 8.5 Support—in addition to LabVIEW 8.0 and LabVIEW 8.2.

Installation Instructions

  1. Download NI-DAQmx_Base_3.1.0.dmg
  2. Double click on NI-DAQmx_Base_3.1.0.dmg to launch the disk image
  3. Double click on NI-DAQmx_Base_3.1.0.mpkg to run the NI-DAQmx Base installer
