NI-DAQmx 8.7.1 Runtime 3 provides a smaller footprint run-time driver for deploying applications developed using NI-DAQmx 8.7.1 (Full Version).

NI-DAQmx 8.7.1 Runtime 3 contains all the features of the full version of NI-DAQmx 8.7.1 except for the following:

  • NI LabVIEW SignalExpress
  • Application development environment (ADE) support for LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, and Measurement Studio
  • The DAQ Assistant
  • NI-DAQmx documentation

Installation Instructions

To install NI-DAQmx 8.7.1 Runtime 3 unzip the attached file and run the setup.exe file.

NI-DAQmx 8.7.1 Runtime 3 is distributed as a compressed .zip file. The uncompressed size of the Runtime 3 installer is 382 MB. The installed footprint of NI-DAQmx 8.7.1 Runtime 3 is about 560 MB when installed on a clean Windows XP SP2 computer.
