Description

This patch is intented to fix the following issues reported when using the Measurement Studio 8.0 .NET class libraries with Visual Studio 2005:

- PropertyEditor control throws a NullReferenceException when dropped in Visual Studio 2005.

- If you add an item to collection editors of UI controls at design-time and cancels the collection editor dialog, you receive an error stating that an ObjectDisposedException has been thrown. This error does not cause the component to behave improperly. The control can still be used without any problems after the error is generated.

- NumericEdit control does not draw a border in Visual Studio 2005.

- If you have only Visual Studio 2005 installed, Visual Studio 2005 generates warnings when building setup projects consisting of the NationalInstruments.UI or NationalInstruments.UI.WindowsForms assemblies.

Note This patch is for the Measurement Studio 8.0 .NET libraries only. If you are using Measurement Studio 7.x, you will need to upgrade to Measurement Studio 8.0 in order to install this patch.

Note After installing the patch, make sure that your Visual Studio 2005 projects are referencing the updated versions of the libraries. This is important especially if you have Visual Studio 2005 projects that were creating using Measurement Studio 7.x/8.0 .NET libraries. The best way to ensure this is to re-add the Measurement Studio controls from the Visual Studio 2005 toolbox, and to remove and add the assembly references from the Solution Explorer.
