Description

The niser15.zip file contains the installation files for version 1.5 of the driver software for National Instruments serial hardware. This version of the driver supports the AT-232 Series, AT-485 Series, PCMCIA-232 Series, PCMCIA-485 Series, PCI-232 Series, PCI-485 Series, PXI-8420, PXI-8421, PXI-8422 and PXI-8423 in Windows 98/95/Me/NT. While this driver does support Windows 2000/XP, it is highly recommended to use NI-Serial 1.6 instead.

You must extract the files from the niser15.zip and run the Setup.exe to install the NI-Serial version 1.5 driver on your system.

Note: This driver is separate from the NI-Serial for USB and NI-Serial Device Server for ENET drivers, but can coexist with those drivers.
