Other information
The niser180.exe is a self-extracting executable that contains the installation files for version 1.8 of the driver software for National Instruments serial hardware. This version of the driver supports the AT-232/485 Series, PCMCIA-232/485 Series, PCI-232/485 Series, PXI-842x, PXI/PCI-843x, ENET-232/485, and USB-232/485 devices.

Note: If you are using Windows 9x or NT, then you need the NI-Serial 1.5 driver for plug-in devices, or 1.0.1 for the ENET-232/485 on just Windows NT. The PCI-843x and PXI-843x are not supported with NI-Serial 1.5 or earlier. See the Readme.html for more details.

Note: This driver includes the support for USB and ENET devices that previously required NI-Serial for USB and NI-Serial Device Server for ENET.

Note: NI-Serial for Windows only supports National Instrument serial products
